1. In accordance with Section 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG The Royal Bank of Scotland
Group plc, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, has informed us that the percentage
holding of the voting rights in Wincor Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, Germany has
exceeded the threshold of 3% on January 12, 2012 and per this date amounts to
3.3884% (1,121,055 voting rights).

Of these 3.3884% (1,121,055 voting rights) 3.2055% (1,060,555 voting rights) are
attributed via The Royal Bank of Scotland plc pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent.
1 no. 1 WpHG.

Furthermore 0.1829% (60,500 voting rights) of these 3.3884% (1,121,055 voting
rights) are attributed to the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc pursuant to sec.
22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

2. In accordance with Section 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG The Royal Bank of Scotland
plc, Edinburgh, United Kingdom has informed us that the percentage holding of
the voting rights in Wincor Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, Germany has exceeded the
threshold of 3% on January 12, 2012 and per this date amounts to 3.2055%
(1,060,555 voting rights).
