Announcement according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG (share)

1. BlackRock, Inc., New York, USA, informed us pursuant to Sections 21 Paragraph
1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the voting rights in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the threshold of 5% on 15.03.2011 and amounts to
5.46% (10,446,033 voting shares) on that day. All of the voting rights are
attributable to BlackRock, Inc., pursuant to Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1
No. 6 in connection with Sentence 2 WpHG.

2. BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, USA, informed us pursuant to Sections
21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the voting rights in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the threshold of 5% on 15.03.2011 and amounts to
5.36% (10,252,265 voting shares) on that day. All of the voting rights are
attributable to BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., pursuant to Section 22 Paragraph 1
Sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with Sentence 2 WpHG.

3. BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York, USA, informed us pursuant to
Section 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the voting rights
in K+S Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the threshold of 5% on 15.03.2011 and amounts
to 5.36% (10,252,265 voting shares) on that day. All of the voting rights are
attributable to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., pursuant to Section 22
Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with Sentence 2 WpHG.

4. BlackRock Advisors Holdings, Inc., New York, USA, informed us pursuant to
Section 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the voting rights
in K+S Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the threshold of 3% on 15.03.2011 and amounts
to 3.82% (7,307,908 voting shares) on that day. All of the voting rights are
attributable to BlackRock Advisors Holdings, Inc., pursuant to Section 22
Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with Sentence 2 WpHG.

5. BlackRock International Holdings Inc., New York, USA, informed us pursuant to
Section 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the voting rights
in K+S Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the threshold of 3% on 15.03.2011 and amounts
to 3.50% (6,699,041 voting shares) on that day. All of the voting rights are
attributable to BlackRock International Holdings Inc., pursuant to Section 22
Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with Sentence 2 WpHG.

6. BR Jersey International Holdings L.P., St. Helier, Jersey, UK, informed us
pursuant to Section 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the
voting rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the threshold of 3% on
15.03.2011 and amounts to 3.50% (6,699,041 voting shares) on that day. All of
the voting rights are attributable to BR Jersey International Holdings L.P.,
pursuant to Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with Sentence
2 WpHG.
