Prenzlau/Oldenburg (euro adhoc) - aleo solar today announced that it has
received MCS certification for its poly- and monocrystalline solar modules. This
ensures that operators of solar power plants with aleo modules will be able to
benefit from UK feed-in subsidies. Certification is granted by the British
Approvals Board for Telecommunications (BABT), working in partnership with TÜV
Süd.

The certificate confirms compliance with the "Microgeneration Certification
Scheme" (MCS) and the high quality of the module production at aleo solar's
facilities. A producer of solar modules at its main Prenzlau plant since 2002,
the company is one of Europe's largest and most experienced module
manufacturers. Certification covers aleo modules S_16, S_17, S_18, S_19, S_24
and S_77.

aleo solar AG already maintains its own local sales office in the UK. "In the
British market, as elsewhere in Europe, we are relying on close partnerships
with photovoltaic installers," explains Norbert Schlesiger, Chief Sales Officer
at aleo solar AG. "We provide support for installers ranging from facility
design to after sales." As well as modules, aleo solar also supplies complete
photovoltaic systems. Over a thousand specialist dealers and installers are now
part of aleo solar's European Partner Network.

Total installed solar power capacity has been rising markedly in the UK,
following the introduction of a feed-in subsidy for renewable energies in April.
Feed-in subsidies for rooftop systems - aleo solar's core segment - are
particularly attractive.
