BlueBay Asset Management plc and The BlueBay Multi-Strategy(Master)Fund Limited
informed us on 3 November 2010 that The BlueBay Multi-Strategy (Master)Fund
Limited and BlueBay Funds in respect of its sub-fund, BlueBay Global Convertible
Bond Fund (collectively, "The Funds") hold convertible bonds of Air Berlin PLC
on 2 November 2010, which bonds, if converted into shares during the conversion
period from 17 November 2009 to 15 August 2014, would convert into 6,271,907
voting ordinary shares of Air Berlin PLC. This figure represents 7.36% of Air
Berlin PLC's voting rights based on current issued and outstanding shares and
5.38% of its voting rights on a fully-diluted basis. The Bonds held by BlueBay
Multi-Strategy (Master) Fund Limited would, if converted into shares during the
conversion period referred to above, convert into 2,992,560 voting ordinary
shares of Air Berlin PLC, which represents 3.51% of its voting rights based on
current issued and outstanding shares and 2.57% of its voting rights on a
fully-diluted basis. BlueBay Asset Management plc manages the assets of the
funds.
