On October 27, 2010, Koninklijke DSM N.V., Heerlen, The Netherlands, informed us
pursuant to Sec. 21 para 1 WpHG that they have not taken part in the recent
increase of the statutory capital of Agennix AG by which Agennix AG issued
20,588,705 new shares. As a result, their percentage of voting rights in Agennix
AG (represented by 915,538 shares held by their fully controlled subsidiary
Gist-Brocades International B.V. and attributed to Koninklijke DSM N.V. pursuant
to Sec. 22 para 1 no. 1 WpHG) have fallen below 3% on October 4, 2010 and are as
per this date only 2.21% of the total voting rights in Agennix AG.

On October 27, 2010, Gist-Brocades International B.V., Delft, The Netherlands,
informed us pursuant to Sec. 21 para 1 WpHG that they have not taken part in the
recent increase of the statutory capital of Agennix AG by which Agennix AG
issued 20,588,705 new shares. As a result, their voting rights in Agennix AG
(represented by 915,538 shares) have fallen below 3% on October 4, 2010 and are
as per this date only 2.21% of the total voting rights in Agennix AG.
