On 27 April 2010 Solidas 2 S.A. (Luxemburg, Luxemburg)informed Arcandor AG i.I.
(Essen, Germany) about the following:

1. According to section 21 para. 1 WpHG notification was given that Solidas 3
S.A. (Luxemburg, Luxemburg) on 22 April 2010 fell below the threshold of 3%
of the voting rights in Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) and on that day held 2,63 %
(6.668.110 voting rights, calculated on the basis of total voting rights of
253,226,080).

2. Furthermore, notification was given according to section 21 para. 1 WpHG that
Solidas 2 S.A. (Luxemburg, Luxemburg)on 22. April 2010 fell below the threshold
of 3% of the voting rights in Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) and on that day held
2,63 % (6.668.110 voting rights, calculated on the basis of total voting rights
of 253,226,080). All of these voting rights are attributed to Solidas 2 S.A.
(Luxemburg, Luxemburg) pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
