Wien (euro adhoc) - On 24 September 2009, stock exchange listed Sparkassen
Immobilien AG
(Bloomberg: SPI:AV, Reuters: SIAG.VI) received a notification pursuant to
section 91(1) Austrian Stock Exchange Act (BörseG) from Tri-Star Capital
Ventures Ltd., an international investment company. Tri-Star has increased its
interest in Sparkassen Immobilien AG to 11.15% of the voting share capital
(68,118,718 shares), thereby exceeding the 10% notification threshold.

Vienna Insurance Group and Erste Group continue to be strategic core
shareholders in Sparkassen Immobilien AG.
