Frankfurt am Main (euro adhoc) - Mr Frank Westhoff, Member of the Board of
Managing Directors of DZ BANK AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank,
Frankfurt/Main, has been elected by the Supervisory Board of DVB Bank SE as its
Chairman, with effect from 6 July 2009.

Mr Westhoff, who succeeds Dr Thomas Duhnkrack as Chairman, has been a Member of
DVB´s Supervisory Board since 30 June 2006. In his function as a Member of DZ
BANK´s Board of Managing Directors, Mr Westhoff is responsible for Credit, Legal
Services, and Operations/Services.
