FORM ANNOUNCEMENT

Atrium European Real Estate Limited (the "Company") announces that it has
repurchased a total of EUR126.8 million nominal value of the notes issued under
the Company's guaranteed medium term note programme 2006 (ISIN XS0263871328) in
the period since the Company's results announcement on 24 March 2009, in which
the Company announced a renewed authority to make debt repurchases. A
substantial part of this total amount represent purchases made on 18 June 2009.

Notes to editors:

These latest acquisitions bring the total purchases by the Company of notes
issued under the Company's guaranteed medium term note programme 2006 to EUR352
million nominal, leaving a balance of EUR248 million nominal value of the notes
in issue.
