REpower: André Horbach resigns from supervisory board

Hamburg (euro adhoc) - Hamburg, 05 June 2008. Tulsi R. Tanti, chairman of the
supervisory board, today notified REpower Systems AG (WKN 617703) of André
Horbach?s resignation as a member of the supervisory board with effect from 06
June 2008.

Mr. Horbach has been legally appointed member of the supervisory board since 10
March 2008. His resignation is linked to the quitting of his post as CEO of
Suzlon Energy Ltd. on 24 May 2008. The REpower supervisory board is going to
promptly deliberate on a potential successor.
