WestLB shareholding successfully placed

Nuremberg, April 20, 2007: In a letter dated April 13, 2007, WestLB AG has
announced that the shares in TA Triumph-Adler AG held by its subsidiary WestTA
Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH have now fallen below the 5% and 3% thresholds. At
present, neither company holds voting rights in TA Triumph-Adler AG.

WestLB's 8.6% shareholding was placed with several long-term institutional
investors following the successful course of the 2006 financial year and as part
of TA Triumph-Adler AG's intensified investor relations activities.

TA Triumph Adler AG is planning this year to completely redeem its existing
financing structure through a variety of borrowing instruments, as well as
through a capital increase of approximately EUR 20 million. This will allow the
company, in particular, to access further potential for growth and earnings.
