On September 7, 2010, AGRANA was informed that the Austrian Federal Competition
Authority (FCA) has referred AGRANA Zucker GmbH and Südzucker AG, among others,
to the Cartel Court of Vienna (Kartellgericht Wien) on allegations of a past
violation of the Austrian Cartel Act. AGRANA is currently reviewing the referral
and will submit a statement to the Cartel Court of Vienna within the defined
deadline.
