Neuhausen am Rheinfall / Switzerland - The shareholders of Card Guard AG (SIX
Swiss Exchange: CARDG) approved at today's Annual General Meeting in Zurich all
proposals of the Board of Directors.

Ruedi Stöckly and Gregory Henry Volkart were re-elected as Members of the Board
of Directors for a one-year term of office.

In line with the proposal of the Board of Directors, the company will be
renamed into LifeWatch AG to ensure better communication on the important
financial and healthcare markets in the U.S. and in Europe and to further
underline the importance of the monitoring services business. The adjustment of
the company name and the new ticker symbol LIFE on SIX Swiss Exchange trading
