The World Public Forum (WPF) "Dialogue of Civilizations" is hosting a high level meeting of experts to discuss the most pressing socio-cultural problems facing the world today in the Vienna Hofburg. The conference is held under the patronage of UNESCO, and will be attended by experts, renowned politicians and public figures from around the world.

The Program of the Summit also includes the presentation of the International Prize of the WPF "Dialogue of Civilizations" to a new laureate. This Prize is awarded for outstanding achievements in promoting a dialogue of cultures in the world, for creating efficient and democratic instruments to resolve global problems at an international level, for carrying out evolutionary changes in the structure of contemporary society, for all-round development of the potential of an inter-confessional dialogue and peaceful cooperation among peoples, as well as for major contributions to the culture and development of society.

In your capacity as media representative, you are warmly invited to attend the award ceremony, the reception and the subsequent press conference with high-ranking representatives of the World Public Forum as WPF-President Vladimir Yakunin, the Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer, as well as the highly acclaimed American sociologist, Craig Calhoun, Oxford University.
