Robert Hersov, notified us on January 7, 2008 that as of such date he holds, through his subsidiary, Haarlem One B.V, 17.497% of the voting shares of Air Berlin PLC. Harlem One B.V. is a subsidiary of Vatas Capital B.V., which is a subsidiary of Vatas Holding GmbH which, in turn is a subsidiary of Sapinda KG, which is controlled by its limited partner, Sapinda GmbH. Sapinda GmbH is a subsidiary of Sapinda Limited and is owned by Robert Hersov. The aforementioned 17.497% includes the 15.412% owned by Haarlem One B.V. as notified to Air Berlin PLC on January 2, 2008.
