A year from being actively a member of the management board, Thomas
Kirchenkamp has resigned as CTO for JoWooD of his own will with
effect from June 30th 2003.

Thomas Kirchenkamp has been with JoWooD through the company’s hardest
time in its history and contributed strongly in influencing the
restructuring of JoWooD as well as providing strategic focus on
development and publishing of top-ten titles. "After contributing to
the redirection of JoWooD’s business model, concerning the
concentration on top titels and first successes with titels like
Gothic 2, I firmly believe that JowooD will surpass the success of
Gothic 2 with titles like Spellforce or Söldner-Secret Wars. However,
it is time for me to search for new challenges." commented
Kirchenkamp.

Thomas Kirchenkamp’s responsibilities will be taken over equally by
Andreas Tobler and Michael Pistauer following the decision to
centralize in Austria. Andreas Tobler "It is with great regret that
we have to accept the resignation of Thomas Kirchenkamp.
Centralization is the logical step for JoWooD’s new direction and
future. The development and publishing structures that were
implemented in Germany by Thomas Kirchenkamp perfectly merge into the
structure here in the Austrian headquarters and will subsequently be
expanded and improved upon"
