Cannes (ots Ad hoc-Service) - During this year's Cannes Film
Festival, Kinowelt-USA, Inc. has succeeded in concluding an output
deal with Lolafilms S.A. covering Spain. The productions concerned -
each with a budget of between US$ 20 and 80 million - include the
feature films from the recently-announced exclusive "first look" deal
between Kinowelt-USA and Gale Ann Hurd's "Valhalla Pictures". The
successful American producer has been responsible for a whole series
of box-office hits such as "Terminator", "Terminator 2", "Dante's
Peak" and "Armageddon". The deal struck between Kinowelt-USA and
Lolafilms, Spain's leading film production and distribution company
under Andres Vicente Gomez, will initially cover five productions.
