Wuppertal, 26 June 2008 - In financial year 2007/2008 (01.04.2007 - 31.03.2008)
the SDAX listed investment holding company GESCO AG has reached Group sales of
EUR 333 million (previous year: EUR 268 million) and Group net income after
minority interests of EUR 17.9 million (previous year: EUR 13.3 million)
representing earnings per share according to IFRS of EUR 5.92 (previous year:
EUR 4.83).

For the new financial year 2008/2009 (01.04.2008-31.03.2009) the company expects
a growth in sales of approx. 11 % to EUR 370 million and a growth in Group net
income after minority interests of approx. 20 % to EUR 21.5 million which
represents earnings per share according to IFRS of EUR 7.11.

The annual report for financial year 2007/2008 and the outlook for financial
year 2008/2009 will be explained in the annual accounts press conference /
analysts meeting on 26 June 2008.
