OLDENBURG/PRENZLAU, July 9th, 2006. aleo solar AG (ISIN DE000A0JM634), the
selling shareholders and COMMERZBANK as Global Coordinator and Sole Bookrunner
today jointly set the price range for the solar module specialist's shares
between EUR 13,50 to EUR 16,50 per share. Interested investors may subscribe to
the shares from July 10 until July 13, 2006. The subscription period will end
on July 13, 2006, 12 p.m. (CEST) for private investors and at 2 p.m. (CEST) for
institutional investors. The final issue price is to be determined on July 13,
2006. Trading in the shares is expected to commence in the Official Market
(Amtlicher Markt) / Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on July 14,
2006.

A total of up to 7,033,061 shares will be offered, of which up to 2,850,400
result from a capital increase against cash contributions and up to 4,182,661
will be made available by the selling shareholders (including a greenshoe of
917,355). More than 75 percent of these are currently held by S.M.D.
Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, which belongs to the Hannover Finanz Group. The
full terms of the offering are set out in the German securities prospectus
approved by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) on June 29,
2006 and published on the company's website www.aleo-solar.de. The prospectus
is also available for free at the company's office, Osterstr. 15 in 26122
Oldenburg and from the syndicate banks.
