MEDION AG: Ad hoc Notification pursuant to Section 15 German Securities Trading
Act (WpHG)

Dividend Recommendation/Outlook for 2010

The Supervisory Board and Management Board of MEDION AG decided in their
meeting of March 10, 2010 to propose to the Annual Shareholders' Meeting on May
26, 2010 that the dividend be increased to EUR 0.20 for each dividend-entitled
share (previous year: EUR 0.15).

Because of the highly unpredictable macroeconomic conditions, forecasts for the
current fiscal year 2010 continue to be associated with a high degree of
uncertainty. Nonetheless, the successful start in 2010 can be seen as a reason
for cautious optimism. Accordingly, a sales increase of around 5-10% is likely
for the first half of 2010 and sales growth of around 5-7% is assumed for 2010
as a whole. The Management Board expects to see an increase in the result
(EBIT) in the range of 15-20%, and thus a stronger increase than in sales.
